Artist statement

My work lives at the intersection of fine art and interior design, where natural materials, thoughtful composition, and craftsmanship come together. I am drawn to the inherent beauty and imperfections found in organic materials—shells, wood, feathers, textiles, and other elements of the natural world—and transform them into contemporary sculptural works.

I approach each piece as both an artist and a designer, exploring rhythm, repetition, symmetry, movement, and negative space to create compositions that feel intentional yet organic. The materials themselves often guide the process, allowing their natural variation, texture, and light-reflective qualities to become part of the design.

Handmade and highly considered, my work is meant to be experienced not only as art, but as something that becomes part of its surroundings—bringing texture, dimension, and a connection to the natural world into the spaces we inhabit.
